Eigenvalues of Rotations and Braids in Spherical Fusion Categories

چکیده
We give formulas for the multiplicities of eigenvalues of generalized rotation operators in terms of generalized Frobenius-Schur indicators in a semi-simple spherical tensor category C. In particular, this implies for a finite depth planar algebra, the entire collection of rotation eigenvalues can be computed from the fusion rules and the traces of rotation at finitely many depths. If C is also braided, these formulas yield the multplicities of eigenvalues for a large class of braids in the associated braid group representations. When C is modular, this allows one to determine the eigenvalues and multiplicities of braids in terms of just the S and T matrices.

Abstract. This survey of categorical structures, occurring naturally in mathematics, physics and computer science, deals with monoidal categories; various structures in monoidal categories; free monoidal structures; Penrose string notation; 2-dimensional categorical structures; the simplex equations of field theory and statistical mechanics; higher-order categories and computads; the (v,d)-cube...
متن کاملEnergy Gain of Magnetized Cylindrical D-T Targets in Fast Ignition Fusion
In recent years, many different plans have been considered to use the nuclear energy gained from inertial confinement fusion (ICF) as attempts to obtain high energy efficiencies. In conventional ICF methods, a small amount (about mg) of the deuterium–tritium compound is confined in a small spherical chamber of a few millimeters in radius and compressed by laser or heavy ion beams with powers in...

Recent experiments on the spherical tokamak have discovered the conditions to create a powerful plasma and ensure easy shaping and amplification of stability, high bootstrap current and confinement energy. The spherical tours (ST) fusion energy development path is complementary to the tokamak burning plasma experiment such as NSTX and higher toroidal beta regimes and improves the design of a po...

In this Research, the transition from equilibrium ignition to non-equilibrium burn was studied by DEIRA4 code for simple spherical targets with the dimensions of several mm. It consisted of inner DT fuel and outer Au layers driven by the 209Bi heavy ions beam. Because of their higher plasma opacity, it was expected that they could trap much of the produced charged particles, radiation or even f...
